A Message from Our President

Spring has sprung and a lot is going on with WIM- so much so that this message is long over due! Our members (including myself) have made big transitions to new roles, new jobs, and new responsibilities and the organization will soon do the same as we pass the torch to new leadership. I have really enjoyed my time as President for it has been personally and professionally fulfilling and am truly excited about what lies ahead for the organization.

Last month, we announced the remainder of the year's programs that include Demo Diva, author Rod Dreher, and a certain LSU athletics coach, but please know that suggestions and ideas from our members are always welcomed. It has been an important goal for me to remain relevant and continue to provide benefit for member's time and with the support and hard work of the Board - I believe we have done that.

In May, let's not forget our annual Awards of Excellence program on May 22. Past President Jodi Carson will emcee the event and when you look at the list of nominees, I believe it's a true testament to how many women are out there rockin' it and making waves in their companies and for the community. So, please consider joining us for this great event and celebrate the nominees, the recipients, and each other.
