CANCELLATION: March Luncheon – The Value of Video Content

Women in Media – Baton Rouge has canceled “The Value of Video to Your Media Strategy” luncheon for Wednesday, March 18th, in response to concerns over community spread of the coronavirus.

Guest speaker and digital marketing manager of LSU Online, Kate Benedetto, will be rescheduled for the next event. Pre-paid tickets will transfer to the next luncheon or may be refunded upon request.  

The health of our membership and community is our priority. We also recognize many of our members are currently committed to helping communicate health information amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Kate Benedetto is a local, up-and-coming marketing professional with experience implementing one of today’s must-haves for every organization’s social media strategy – video. She joins Women in Media on March 18th to talk about the importance of video and easy ways to incorporate to your social media approach today.

She is the Digital Media Manager for LSU Online where she is responsible for managing and executing all paid digital advertising and social media strategies for LSU’s online and continuing education programs. She is also the producer and strategist behind LSU Online’s latest video content featuring recent graduates from the LSU Online programs..

Kate started her professional career as a digital marketing specialist, overseeing social media accounts and contributing to internal and external marketing communications. She quickly proved her marketing talents by successfully introducing a video creation platform to the communications and marketing departments of a Fortune 300 company. Within three years, Kate became one of the lead producers and creators of video content for the company. Additionally, her efforts effectively increased Facebook organic and paid ad impressions by 175%.
